CO-EXTRUDED AND LAMINATED FILMS FOR MAP TRAY LIDDING, VACUUM TFFS AND FLOW PACKAGING APPLICATIONS.
Plastopil's expertise as an industry leader in developing thinner lidding films with superior performance is invested in our Toplex range of barrier flexible films. These high barrier films are ideally suited as lidding films on ready-made trays and as top webs on all thermoform-fill-seal (TFFS) lines and flow packaging film. Our lidding films sophisticated lamination and co-extrusion techniques add an advanced barrier layer that maintains product freshness while optimizing its shelf-life. Versatile 7- and 11-layer lock, resealable or easy peel films incorporate advanced sealing layers with or without easy peel or anti-fog properties. Toplex sealing properties can be matched to different substrate types, including PE, PP, PS, PVC, PET and Aluminium. Our lidding films are supplied for food packaging, in most widths and can be printed for maximum sales appeal.

Description:
- Thickness range of 25 to 140 mic to maximize film yields.
- Standard products offer wide sealing range to polyethylene seal layers - 120°C to 200°C
- Available in formulations that lock seal to PE and PP
- A variety of custom seal layers enable easy-open peel feature when applied to trays made of PP, APET, CPET, PS and aluminum.
- Can be reversed printed for sales appeal. White films also available (check for specific grades)
- Grades with anti-fog (AF) and controlled shrink properties are also available
- Available: laser micro-perforation for use in ready-to-heat and ready-to-cook in the oven and microwave.
- Special grades can add the feature of recloseability to your package.
Application:
- Suitable for lidding, top web, VFFS, HFFS and TFFS machines. Works equally well with pre-formed or inline thermoformed trays.
- Specially formulated to optimize the shelf life of chilled meat, poultry, cheese and seafood when packed in MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), case-ready or vacuum packs.
- Premium grades for applications where high hot tack, extra-strong seals and sealing through product residue are required.
Product range:
- Toplex HB series: seal to PP and PE, rxcellent sealing through food residue, excellent AF and optical properties. Laminated to BOPET or BOPP. Thickness range - 35, 45, 60 80 and 100 micron
- Toplex HB LPE FP: seal to PE, excellent sealing, good AF, suitable for VFFS, HFFS and TFFS machines. Thickness range - 60 and 80 micron.
- Topex HB HT: Non-laminated PA-outside 25 micron film. Seals to PE, excellent sealing through food residue, excellent AF and optical properties.
- Toplex HB LPP: easy-peel "burst" seal to PP, good AF properties. Thickness range - 45 and 60
- Toplex HB PET: 40 micron easy-peel sealant film for APET/CPET trays. Good AF and excellent optical properties.
- Toplex HB AL: seal to uncoated aluminum tray, excellent easy peel system. Thickness range - 50 and 60 micron.
- Toplex HB EPC: universal easy-peel sealing to PP, PS, APET, CPET. 60 micron film.
- Toplex TW: Coextruded 7 layer lidding film seals to PE or PP, with or without AF.
- Toplex TW FF: Coextruded 7 layer lidding film seals to PE, with or without AF. Suitable for VFFS, HFFS and TFFS machines
- Toplex HB RC: resealable film for sealing to PE or APET. Thickness range - 81 and 95 micron.

Description:
- Thickness range: 60 to 130 micron
- Wide sealing range: 120°C to 190°C
- Available in formulations for lock seal or easy-peel seal to PE and PP
- Can be reversed printed for sales appeal. White and blue films also available (check for specific grades)
- AF is not available in the Toplex MB series
Application:
- Suitable for Top Web, VFFS, HFFS and TFFS machines.
- Specially formulated for vacuum packaging of chilled and frozen meat products, poultry, cheese and seafood, optimizing shelf life and preventing freezer burn.
- Premium grades for applications where high hot tack, extra-strong seals and sealing through product residue are needed.
Products range:
- Toplex TW: Co extruded 7 layer lidding film seal to PE or PP, with or without AF.
- Toplex MB LPE: seal to PE, Excellent sealing, No AF, Thickness range - 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120 and 130 micron.
- Toplex MB Eco: PE sealing layer laminated to BOPA. No AF.

Description:
- Thickness range: 42 to 80 micron.
- Wide sealing range: 120°C to 190°C.
- Available in formulations for lock or easy-peel sealing to PE and PP.
- Can be reversed printed for sales appeal and some films can be supplied white or blue.
- AF is available in some of these films.
Application:
- Suitable for top web, VFFS, HFFS and TFFS machines.
- Specially formulated for vacuum packaging of different frozen meat, poultry, cheese and seafood, optimizing shelf life and preventing freezer burn.
- Premium grades for applications where high hot tack, extra-strong seals and sealing through product residue are required.
Products range:
- Toplex LB series: BOPET laminated to PE film, with and without AF properties. Thickness range - 45 and 60 micron,
- Toplex LB AL: seal to uncoated aluminum tray, excellent easy-peel system. Thickness range - 45 micron. No AF.
- Toplex EPC: universal easy-peel sealing to PP, PS, APET, CPET. Thickness range - 42, 52 and 62 micron.
